The article touches upon the issues of patriotism as an important component of education and upbringing, the importance of coordinating the strengthening of the practical stage of patriotism, the current state of patriotic education of students and the state policy implemented in this direction. It demonstrates the need for the introduction of patriotic games, competitions and quizzes in the process of patriotic education of students in public educational institutions.

The role of educational institutions such as schools, colleges, universities has been discussed in the formation of patriotic citizens. In this process, methods and ways that contribute to solving these problems and achieving goals are highlighted. These approaches are valued both in the context of the political events taking place in the modern world, and in the planned fundamental changes in the field of education. The role of the game is emphasized as the most important driving force of educational activity, allowing students to express themselves, develop independence, get rid of complexes and apply knowledge in practice. The last-mentioned ability especially lies on the basis of changes in the field of education.

The main direction of the article is the coverage of the goals and results of interactive methods in educational activities, their assessment, and the formation of a socially active person who is honest in society, impartial, able to raise questions and seek their solutions, who has his/her own opinion, but also has the ability to listen to the opinions of others, competently and clearly expresses his/her thoughts, recognizes and appreciates his/her native nature.
