Chemical control of plant diseases and pests causes a number of negative phenomena and the need to engage in "biological farming" or "organic farming". The effectiveness of herbal preparations is expressed in the fact that the risk of endangering human health and the degradation of the ecological environment are reduced.

The article presents studies and prevalence of cabbage whitefly larvae, one of the common pests of cabbage in agro systems of Shirak region, which were conducted in field conditions in the farms of Garibdzhanyan and Getk communities of Shirak region. We proposed effective options for pest control measures: processing them with plant extracts of black currant and common tomato plants with insecticidal properties, which in 2021 and 2022 provided an average efficiency of 89% for regular tomatoes and 77% for black currants.

Therefore, we have made recommendations to avoid chemicals for pests of white cabbage, and to fight the larvae of the white butterfly with the help of insecticidal plants: black currant and regular  tomato.
