The ancient Armenian language has always been in the spotlight: it is interesting both as an ancient language, and as a religious language, and as a language of source study, thanks to which it is studied both by pupils and students of universities, seminaries and gymnasiums, as well as by Armenian and foreign researchers who study Armenian ancient and medieval history and culture. Naturally, in this case, the teaching of the subject is important.

Grabar, as a dead literary language, has teaching features. it is not a language of living communication. This means that there are certain difficulties in its study and especially in its assimilation. In this logic, of course, the method chosen for learning is extremely important.

The choice of teaching methods is doubly important when it comes to grammar rules that do not exist in this language, for example, possessive pronouns, personal numbers, prepositions. The latter, being characteristic of the ancient Armenian language, are no longer applicable in the modern Armenian language, that is, they are difficult to understand by modern Armenians and create certain difficulties in learning, which can only be overcome by using the right type of classes, practical exercises, drawing classifiers, etc.

That is why, in the article, we have examined and propose to use such methods and methodical tricks during the teaching of Grabar, which are successfully used in living languages with prepositions, such as in English and Russian (preposition, preposition). comparing and comparing their teaching with popular methods of teaching English and Russian, we have localized it for teaching English.
