The “Students’ Academic Reports” educational program was launched at SUSh
The launch phase of the “Students’ Academic Reports” educational program took place at State University of Shirak, which is one of the factors promoting school–university cooperation. It was organized by A. Gasparyan, Head of the SUSh Chair of History and Law Studies, and A. Melkonyan, a teacher at the university’s high school.
The program was piloting and aimed not only at enriching students’ academic knowledge but also at developing their critical thinking and forming skills for conducting independent research. Using these skills, the students presented their noteworthy reports in the university environment during the first meeting of the above-mentioned program. The university’s administration also expressed its willingness to make the program regular, expanding the circle of participants and involving students from various schools in Gyumri and the Shirak region.
About 20 students from SUSh High School, Gyumri Schools No. 25 and 31 participated in the event.
At the end of the program, the students were awarded certificates.
