STUDENTS’ SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY

What is STUDENTS’ SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY(SSS)?

SUSh Student’s Scientific Society  is a students’ voluntarily structural unit , which contributes to the development of students’ scientific research activities.

The aim is to support students’ scientific research and educational development.

Goals of the SSS:

✔ Promoting the development of research activities among student groups,

✔ Engaging  students in research activities,

✔ Internationalization of students’ research activities,

✔ Increasing the effectiveness of the relationship between research activities and the educational process.

Objectives of the SSS:

✔ Attracting students to research activities,

✔ Internationalization of students’ research activities,

✔ Increasing the effectiveness of the relationship between research activities and the educational process.

The SSS achieves its goals and objectives through its own structural units in cooperation with the Center for Science Policy and Innovation.

Functions of the SSS:

✔ Develop a short-term (2-year) strategy for the development of students’ research activities,

✔ Organize student conferences, seminars, popular science lectures, and other targeted events,

✔ Collect, compile, and disseminate information about student research events,

✔ Identify gifted students engaged in research activities,

✔ Collaborate with SSSs of other universities,

✔ Ensure students’ participation in republican and international conferences,

✔ Support the publication of students’ research and educational-methodical works,

✔ Encourage students to conduct research,

✔ Select and reward students with research credit for the academic year.
