The second phase of the “Summer School at SHSU” program has launched

Today, the second phase of the “Summer School at SHSU” program launched at Shirak State University, gathering more than two dozen students from schools across various communities in Shirak province under the university’s hospitable roof. From the very first day, an engaging and rich schedule awaited the participants.

The first stop of the day was at the University’s External Cooperation Center, where the head of the center, Hovik Melkonyan, welcomed the students. He presented the university’s international cooperation programs, academic exchange opportunities for students, and prospects for continuing education at foreign partner universities, inspiring the future applicants.

Next, the students took a tour of the university library, where the head of the institution, Gayane Avetisyan, presented the library’s rich literary collection, the “Golden Fund” of valuable manuscripts, and the constantly updated literary resources.

The participants engaged in fascinating research experiments in the modern, well-equipped laboratory of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics under the guidance of Professor Samvel Aleksanyan (Head of the Department of Biology and Chemistry) and lecturers Gayane Oksuzyan and Termine Panosyan.

The final stop of the day was at the Faculty of Humanities, where the youth met with the Dean of the Faculty, Aida Gareginyan. Held in a warm atmosphere, the meeting proceeded in an active Q&A format.
