Series of Informational Meetings for Students Continues at Shirak State University

Shirak State University continues its regularly held series of informational meetings for students.

Specifically, at the beginning of the meeting held on September 10, Anahit Valesyan, Vice-Rector-Director of the Center for Management of the Educational-Methodological Process, welcomed the first-year master’s students and emphasized the importance of master’s-level education for deepening professional knowledge and advancing one’s career. She noted that studying in a master’s program provides an opportunity not only to deepen professional knowledge and develop necessary skills, but also to open new opportunities for professional advancement and self-realization.

Vahram Eloyan, Head of the Department of Student Support and University-Employer Cooperation, addressed questions related to students’ rights, responsibilities, and opportunities for more active involvement within the university environment.

On September 11, an informational meeting was held for second- and third-year bachelor’s degree students, during which Anahit Valesyan, Vice-Rector-Director of the Center for Management of the Educational-Methodological Process, presented the opportunities and regulations related to academic mobility and transfers. In particular, the discussion covered inter-university and intra-university student transfers, as well as the procedure for clearing academic debts.

Vahram Eloyan, Head of the Department of Student Support and University-Employer Cooperation, also presented the system of state and university-level discounts available to students.

Participants at the above working meetings were also welcomed by Irina Manukyan, Chairperson of the SHSU Student Council. She presented the main areas of activity of the Student Council, opportunities for student involvement, formats for participating in initiatives, as well as the procedure for joining the Student Council.

Students had the opportunity to raise questions of interest to them and receive the necessary clarifications.

The meetings took place in an active and engaging Q&A atmosphere.
