Representatives of the German DAAD Organization Visited SHSU

Today, the Rector of Shirak State University, Y. Serobyan, hosted Sylvia Schmid, Director of the Georgia Office of the German DAAD organization, and Nino Antadze, Deputy Director of the same organization, who arrived in Gyumri on a working visit. The Rector noted that expanding and diversifying the framework of international cooperation is among the university’s strategic priorities. He expressed hope that these meetings would help intensify academic mobility and exchange with universities of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The guests then held an informational meeting with SHSU students and staff, presenting the main functions of the DAAD organization, as well as issues related to the academic mobility and exchange programs it implements.

The meeting took place in an open, engaging atmosphere with an active Q&A session.
