World and European champion Nazik Avdalyan was hosted at SUSh

World and European champion Nazik Avdalyan met with the faculty and students of State University of Shirak today.

After watching the film about the life of the world-famous athlete, the SUSh Acting Vice-Rector-Director of the Educational and Methodological Process Management Center, A. Valesyan, delivered a welcoming speech.

SUSh Professor A. Matevosyan presented excerpts from his memories about Nazik Avdalyan’s path, adding that SUSh is one of those exceptional universities whose numerous students have won Gold Medals at the World and European Championships and the Olympic Games, or achieved honorable positions.

In her speech, Nazik Avdalyan thanked her alma mater for the warm welcome and for creating an opportunity to visit her beloved educational institution. She spoke about her years of study and the knowledge she gained, encouraging students to study diligently and persevere on the path to achieving their goals.

The students actively asked questions to the distinguished athlete, seeking to learn from her experience and receive valuable advice.

The meeting was organized at the initiative of the SUSh Student Council.
