The issue of preserving and strengthening national identity has gained particular importance in the context of contemporary geopolitical developments, becoming not only a scientific but also a state and public priority.

The speaker, Head of the Chair of History and Law Studies, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Arshavir Gasparyan, presented the historical prerequisites for the formation of national identity, including the pagan, Christian, cultural, and political stages, which together have shaped the national self- consciousness and value system of the Armenian people.

Special attention was paid to pan-Armenian perceptions, where national identity is viewed as an interconnected system of language, culture, and statehood.

The scientific seminar was attended by students from different streams of Gyumri Academic Lyceum and Artik High School No. 3, who actively participated in the discussions on the topic.
