Representatives of the Embassy of Hungary in the Republic of Armenia Visit Shirak State University

Today, Shirak State University hosted a visit by Alexandra Csizmadia, Acting Ambassador of the Embassy of Hungary in Armenia, and Consul Peter Tarcai.

Welcoming the representatives of the diplomatic mission, Rector of ShSU Yervand Serobyan presented the history of the University, its academic and educational activities, as well as the main directions of international cooperation and strategic priorities of the institution.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed possible areas of cooperation between Shirak State University and relevant educational and scientific institutions of Hungary. In particular, they addressed opportunities for implementing joint educational programs, cooperation within the framework of international conferences, seminars, and other events, as well as potential collaboration in the field of tourism.

The discussion also touched upon the possibility of introducing Hungarian language studies at ShSU, as well as conducting Armenian Studies research in cooperation with the Department of Armenian Studies of Pazmany Peter Catholic University. Such initiatives could contribute to strengthening linguistic and cultural ties and expanding opportunities for international mobility for students and staff.

The meeting was held in a warm and constructive working atmosphere, outlining prospects for future cooperation.
