Message of the Rector of SUSh, Yervand Serobyan, on the Occasion of Independence Day

Dear compatriots,

On September 21, 1991, the Armenian people, united and determined, fulfilled their long-standing dream by declaring the independence of the Republic of Armenia. The path to independence was full of difficulties and challenges, but thanks to the determination and perseverance of our people, it became a reality.

The progress of our country and the rise of our nation go through the path of education and science.  State University of Shirak, as one of the most important centers for shaping new generations, strives every day to contribute as much as possible to the development of our homeland by preparing specialists who are equipped with modern knowledge and who are patriotic and responsible.

We must preserve our national values and traditions and pass on a stronger and more stable homeland to future generations.

I congratulate all of us on the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia and wish our country peace, progress, and prosperity.

Long live the independent Republic of Armenia.
