Rector of the State University of Shirak Yervand Serobyan met with students displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh and assigned to the State University of Shirak
Today, Yervand Serobyan, the rector of SUSh, met with students forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh and assigned to relevant professional educational programs of SUSh.
In accordance with the policy of the Government of the Republic of Armenia regarding forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, the State University of Shirak is also engaged in identifying the needs and problems facing students, psychological integration of students and additional issues related to education. Certificates were given to the teachers who participated in the training at SUSh
Certificates were handed out at State University of Shirak today to those teachers of public educational institution, subject to regular certification, who participated in training courses from 2023 July 31 to August 23 conducted by the “M. Nalbandyan State University of Shirak” Foundation and received corresponding credits.

Today SUSh Rector Yervand Serobyan handed over the certificates of the conducted training on the topic “Mechanisms for improving professional educational programs” to the representatives of the University’s academic staff.

Teacher’s training courses were launched at SUSh
The training courses for teachers of public educational institutions subject to mandatory certification started at SUSh from today.
Training courses are held in English, Geography, Physics, Physical education, Armenian language and literature, Math, Preliminary Military Training, History, Elementary teaching methodology and Russian, in which 120 teachers from 29 schools from Gyumri and different settlements of Shirak region participate. A regular session of the Scientific Council was held today at State University of Shirak, in which 29 out of 33 members participated.
Before addressing the topics on the agenda, SUSh Rector Ye. Serobyan informed those present that the staff of the Scientific Council has changed due to structural changes at the university: some people have been included in the staff of the Scientific Council ex officio, and some members have left.
