A regular session of the Scientific Council was held at SUSh

A regular session of the Scientific Council was held today at State University of Shirak, in which 29 out of 33 members participated.

Before addressing the topics on the agenda, SUSh Rector Ye. Serobyan informed those present that the staff of the Scientific Council has changed due to structural changes at the university: some people have been included in the staff of the Scientific Council ex officio, and some members have left. The Rector thanked the employees who left the Scientific Council for their joint work, after which they addressed the issues on the agenda.

The Acting Vice-Rector-Director of the Educational and Methodological Process Management Center N. Avetisyan presented a report on two issues on the agenda: the results of the final certification of the 2022-2023 academic year and the new curricula for the bachelor’s education program. She noted that as a result of joint work with professional Chairs, the curricula were adjusted to the requirements of the National and Sectorial Qualifications Frameworks (ARMENQA).

Director of the Scientific Policy and Innovation Center L. Margaryan also presented the issue of guaranteeing the printing of educational and methodological manuals authored by the representatives of the university’s teaching staff, by the scientific council.
