ESP and ECTS/Tuning Modular Training at the Catholic University of Porto, Portugal

On January 16-22, 2021,  in the frames of Erasmus+‘‘Support for Innovative Methodology, Approaches and Tools for Teaching through the Medium of English in order to improve Educational Yield, Sustainability and Internationalization’’ (SMARTI) project training was held at the Catholic University of Porto, Portugal.

Gerard Cullen, the project coordinator from Dresden University of Technology and representatives from partner universities and organizations from  the Russian Federation, Portugal, Latvia and Armenia were participating in the training sessions.

The SUSH SMARTI team members participating in the training were Nazeli Avetisyan, SUSH  Educational-Methodological Process Management Centre, Acting Vice-Rector and Hasmik Matikyan, Lecturer of the Chair of English Language and Literature.

A 5-day training was held in a hybrid format. The training sessions were abundant with presentations that were mainly related to curricula, student-centered learning,  peculiarities of academic writing as well as tips on good presentation, report and minute writings.

The participants were awarded with certificates.
