Today the Chevening scholarship programme was presented in Shirak State University.
Representatives from the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Armenia and the Secretariat of the Chevening scholarship programme spoke about the possibilities of obtaining free Master’s education in leading British universities. Students were told about the details, terms of the programme, order of application.
Chevening alumni, student of Nottingham business school Vardan Haroyan shared his experience with the students, gave useful advice and encouraged them to take part in the programme and to try again after failing.
It should be noted that Chevening is a scholarship programme of the British government, which provides young people with leadership skills with full funding for one-year Master’s Degree at any British University. Applications for the 2020-21 academic year will be accepted since August 5 till November 5, 2019. The programme is open to graduates with Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ work experience (including volunteer work). The scholarship is available for both education and accommodation.
