Address by SHSU Rector Yervand Serobyan on the Occasion of Constitution Day

Dear colleagues, dear representatives of our large university community,

I cordially congratulate us all on the occasion of Constitution Day of the Republic of Armenia.

The Constitution is the legal foundation of our statehood, the crucial embodiment of national unity, democratic development, and the rule of law. It expresses the will of our people to build a sovereign, social, and legal state.

Higher educational institutions shape not only specialists who possess knowledge, but also responsible and values-based citizens who realize their role and responsibility in building a state governed by the rule of law. In this regard, Shirak State University remains faithful to its mission: to train competitive specialists while simultaneously contributing to the strengthening of legal culture, democratic values, integrity, and civic responsibility.

On this symbolic day, I would like to emphasize that the progress of our country depends not only on the presence of the principles enshrined in the Constitution, but also on our daily commitment to them. A responsible attitude toward the law, human rights, education, and public values is the solid foundation upon which a stable and dignified future for the Republic of Armenia is built.

May peace, the rule of law, and nationwide responsibility serve as the unwavering foundation for the development of our society.
