A Regular Session of the Scientific Council Took Place at SHSU

On February 24, the Shirak State University hosted the first session of the Scientific Council for the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Scientific Council, Rector of SHSU Yervand Serobyan, presented the draft agenda, which was approved by the participants.

As agenda items, A. Valesyan, Vice-Rector and Acting Director of the Educational and Methodological Process Management Center, L. Margaryan, Director of the Scientific Policy and Innovation Center, and H. Melkonyan, Director of the External Cooperation Center, presented activity reports on the work carried out by their respective centers during the 2024-2025 academic year.

Following the discussion of these reports, G. Avetisyan, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, presented the results of the participatory monitoring (co-report) on the performance of the aforementioned reports. Based on this, the Scientific Council assessed the work executed by the three centers as “Satisfactory.”

During the meeting, the Regulations of the Foreign Language Training Center were also discussed and approved.

The remaining items on the agenda were likewise discussed and received the approval of the Scientific Council members.

Summing up the proceedings of the session, Rector Y. Serobyan wished the members of the Scientific Council productive work and further success.
