Summer school at ShSU: Day 3.
The third day at ShSU summer school, involving pupils from Shirak Region graduating classes, was also filled with activities.
Dean Tamara Melikyan greeted students at the Department of Humanities and Arts, introduced to them the Department’s activities, spoke about its Chairs and specialisations, and highlighted the career opportunities aligned with the demands of the labour market.
Afterwards, the Summer School participants went around the University’s Chair of Arts and visited the workshop led by the Head of the Chair, Candidate of Pedagogy Ophelia Kurazyan, who conducted a drawing lesson. The pupils were told about the genre of still life and tried to create their own drawings.
The most active was the pupils’ involvement in the solution of logical tasks organized at the Department of student support and university-employer cooperation. Alongside the assigned tasks, students also asked their own questions and presented problems.
Once again, the day concluded with sports events: after learning the rules of volleyball, a team competition was held in the gym-hall, and cycling enthusiasts trained in the university courtyard.
