Meeting with quality supporter-students. Day 1

On February 22, the head of the Quality Assurance Department State University of Shirak, Gayane Avetisyan, held a working discussion with master’s degree students who support quality.

During the meeting, Gayane Avetisyan touched upon the concept of “Education quality” and the issues of its assurance, as well as presented the internal system of SUSH’s quality assurance and the principles by which the quality assurance processes are implemented at the university. The head of the Quality Assurance Department noted that student-centered learning is a strategic superiority for the SUSH Foundation and the primary goal of the university is to provide qualified educational services in accordance with the national and sectoral frameworks of qualifications, the needs of beneficiaries and stakeholders.

Gayane Avetisyan also referred to the activities of new centres and departments created as a result of structural changes in SUSH, and also presented the procedures for “Determination and Assistance of Students’ Needs” and “Assessment and Appeal of Results of Bachelor’s Degree Credit Educational Programs” in the Benefit of Students Look at the changes that have been made.

Then, Quality Assurance Responsible Shushanna Sahakyan presented to students in the year of the 2023-2024 “Assessment of the professional, pedagogical and organizational competencies of the professors’ staff”, “Education received by graduates of the Master’s degree, university professional and organizational processes” and “First year students under the Master’s Education Program” Results of surveys conducted on the topics of evaluating expectations of students from educational processes carried out at the university.

The meeting was held in the atmosphere of active discussions. Gayane Avetisyan answered students’ questions.
