Description
ERASMUS + BOOST / Boosting Armenian Universities Internationalisation Strategy and Marketing is a triennial national project on the EACA 35/2012 Management reforms priorities within the framework of the events of the 6th statement and structural actions. The aim of the project is to assist and boost the further internationalization of the higher education in the Republic of Armenia via elaborating an appropriate framework and toolkit for the national and institutional policies.
The specific issues of the project are:
To elaborate a complete framework and toolkit of the national internationalization policy aiming to improve the internationalization experience in Armenia;
To establish a National Platform and an online framework and toolkit for mapping and benchmarking the process of higher education internationalization;
To expand the skills of the international departments of higher schools, RA Ministry of Education and Science and partners for strategic management, marketing and inter-cultural communication challenges, as well as the basics for the realization of credit mobility, ensuring systemic approaches towards the problems of internationalization management;
To create or enforce the resources and pro-service centres in the internationalization departments of Armenian higher schools, including elaboration of the strategic and marketing programmes and toolkits.
The programme issues will be realized on the institutional, regional and national levels through detailed planned actions, including holding workshops and training courses on strategy planning, international relations management and structural reforms in partner universities. The information about the outcomes of the national project will be widely distributed among the higher education institutions. The European partners from Spain, Sweden, Portugal and Estonia will apply to the project their great experience in the international relations strategy, marketing and promotion.
