A scientific seminar on the topic: “Value Orientations of Residents of a Care Center for the Elderly” at SUSh

“In the last period of life, we do not remember our years, we remember our values,” with these words, lecturer of the Department of Psychology and Sociology, Knarik Hovakimyan, began her scientific seminar.

During the meeting, she presented the studies she had conducted in recent years on the stage of human life that is often perceived as the end, yet from a psychological perspective represents a period of completing and making sense of the path taken.

As the speaker noted, the aim of the research was to reveal the connection between the value orientations of the elderly and their mental stability, as well as sense of meaning in life.

At the end of the meeting, K. Hovakimyan answered the questions of those present.
