A Republican Student Scientific Conference Held at State University of Shirak
On June 27, 2025, a republican student scientific conference was held at Shirak State University.
Around 100 students and specialists applied to participate in the conference, including 70 participants from SHSU and 30 from various universities across the Republic of Armenia, particularly Yerevan State University, Armenian State Pedagogical University, Armenian State University of Economics, the Russian-Armenian University, as well as Vanadzor State University and Gavar State University.
After the registration of participants, the conference began with a plenary session, followed by work in nine sections:
- Physical and mathematical sciences and their teaching methodologies
- Earth sciences and their teaching methodologies
- Historical sciences
- Legal sciences
- Philosophical sciences and their teaching methodologies
- Pedagogical sciences
- Psychological sciences
- Sports and art studies
- Economics
At the plenary session, the welcoming speech of the Rector of SHSU, Y. Serobyan, was delivered by the Director of the Center for External Cooperation, H. Melkonyan. A welcoming address was also given by L. Margaryan, Deputy Chair of the Conference Organizing Committee. Reports at the plenary session were presented by SSU student K. Harutyunyan and YSU student E. Grigoryan.
Following the plenary session, the conference continued in sectional meetings, where participants presented their reports in accordance with the conference program. After the sectional sessions, the closing ceremony took place in the SHSU hall. During the closing, the results were summarized by the co-chairs of the sections, who noted that the conference was marked by active discussions, exchange of ideas and the proposal of solutions to the issues raised.
After the closing of the conference, an excursion was organized for the guests, during which they became acquainted with historically and culturally significant sites in Gyumri.
Members of the SSU Student Scientific Society actively contributed to the organizational aspects of the conference.
All participants will receive certificates of participation and those scientific articles that are recommended for publication following peer review will be included in the conference proceedings.
