A monument dedicated to the memory of “Nalbandians” in the yard of Shirak State University

In the yard of the main building of the Shirak State University, the opening of the memorial monument dedicated to the memory of “Nalbandians” who were martyred during the earthquake and died for our state and homeland in the years of independence took place today.The honor of opening the monument was given to three students of Shirak State University who participated in the 44-day war.

The Rector of Shirak State University Yervand Serobyan noted: “We did not choose the opening day of the memorial by chance. On September 17, the Armenian Apostolic Church and the faithful people celebrate Khachverats, and the next day commemorate the departed.The memorial will become a sanctuary for us, where we will pay our respect and memory to the fallen “Nalbandians” by placing flowers. He advised everyone to continue living and moving forward, but never to forget those who were with us on that way.

Reverend Ter-Tatev Marukyan, the spiritual pastor of Sarnaghbyur, conducted the funeral ceremony.
