Trainings in SUSh aimed at strengthening pedagogical skills
On June 19-20, basing on the results of the feedback on “Improving the mechanisms and tools of the PEP (Professional educational programmes), the Management centre for the Educational Methodological Process of SUSh conducted a training aimed at strengthening the pedagogical skills of the teaching staff in cooperation with the Chair of Pedagogy.
On the first day of the training, the participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector of the Management Centre for Educational Methodological Process, the interim manager N. Avetisyan. She wished the participants a successful work process, urging them to display more responsibility. She was hopeful that each of the participants would approach the issues related to the process of improvement of the PEPs with the contribution of all their professional potential.
The training was conducted by the head of the Chair of Pedagogy, the interim manager L. Ghukasyan and Chair’s associate professors L. Gevorgyan and L. Mikaelyan.
The topics of the training course were:
- Assessment methods aimed at the final results of the course,
- Learning and teaching methods oriented to the final results of the course.
The training was accompanied by practical work related to the presentation of subject descriptors, thematic calendar plans, and assignments.
