SUSh hosted the “University Futsal League” tournament champions’ award ceremony

On June 7, Shirak State University hosted a ceremony to honour the combined team of students from the Gyumri branches of the State University of Economics of Armenia and the National Polytechnic University of Armenia. These students were crowned champions in the “University Futsal League” tournament at the 25th RA Student Sports Games. The ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including 3 university Rectors: Yervand Serobyan, Artur Kostandyan, Karen Petrosyan, and various city officials from Gyumri.
The members of the winning team, their coach Styopa Mkrtchyan, and the supporters who contributed to their victory were all presented with certificates. The supporters include Vardges Samsonyan, the head of the Gyumri community; Mekhak Ghazaryan, the head of the physical education and sports department of the Gyumri municipal administration; Menua Mkrtchyan, the advisor to the Gyumri community head; Robert Andriasyan, the director of Gyumri Bus CJSC; and Gevorg Aghanyan, acting head of the Chair of Sports and Art at the State University of Shirak.
