Summer school-2․ day 4

On the fourth day of the summer school, the students had a familiarization visit at the Faculty of Social Sciences, where they were met by the acting dean, candidate of natural sciences, associate professor O. Hovhannisyan. She presented the history of the faculty and chairs to the participants, spoke about the importance of training specialists with skills and abilities in accordance with the requirements of the modern labor market in the university system and the professional and material-technical base and opportunities available in the faculty to ensure this.

The students of the summer school met and talked about the specifics of their professions, as well as the students studying at the faculty of various specialties. Shushanna Sahakyan, a student of “Psychology” specialty, also conducted psychological tests and art therapy, revealing the characteristics of the authors’ characters through the pictures they drew.

Art therapy was followed by the meeting-discussion on the topic “Formation of personal meanings and value orientations during adolescence” with lecturer A. Hakobyan of Psychology and Sociology Chair.

The next “stop” was at the Department of Sports and Art, where the acting head of the department, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor G. Aghanyan presented to the participants the history of the chair that educated world and European record holders and Olympic champions.

The day ended with a volleyball tournament in the sports hall.
