Skiing in Ashotsk

As part of the events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Shirak State University, a group of ski-loving students accompanied by the Head of the Chair of Sports and Arts Mr. G.Ananyan, skiing expert and lecturer Mr. H. Antikyan and USSR Master of Sports S. Minasyan went to Ashotsk to learn skiing.
After getting acquainted with the rules, techniques and basic safety principles of this kind of sports, skiing began on a specially separated ski route.
At the end of the eventful day, the participants returned to Gyumri. Thanks to the expedition, they realized that skiing is not only a means of active holiday, but also a real art that requires concentration and harmony with the environment.
