Professional Introductory Visit to SUSh

On November 22 and 23, at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of Shirak State University, we hosted high school students from SUSh, as well as pupils from Azatan Secondary school and Gyumri Economic College, stream of Natural Sciences (grades 10-12).
The head of the Chair of Biology and Chemistry, Professor S. Aleksanyan, along with the chair’s staff, presented the benefits of the specialties offered by the chair and the demand for specialists in this field in the labor market, as well as the benefits provided by the government to students studying in Natural Sciences.
In the Biotechnology and Microbiology Laboratory, students explored the material and technical capabilities of the lab, the available instruments and equipment, and examined samples under a microscope. Laboratory experiments in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biotechnology were conducted with the instructors and students of the chair.
