Meeting-discussion in order to identify the needs of students

Today, a meeting-discussion took place between the Rector of Shirak State University Yervand Serobyan, the directors of the centers, the head of the Quality Assurance Department and the members of the Student Council in order to highlight the needs of students and find possible solutions for them.

Yervand Serobyan, the Rector of SUSH, welcoming the attendees, noted that identifying and supporting students’ needs is one of the university’s strategic priorities, which is regulated by the “Procedure for Identifying and Supporting Students’ Needs”. The latter defines the processes of monitoring, studying, identifying and satisfying the scientific-educational, socio-cultural needs of university students, aimed at ensuring a quality educational environment.

The rector suggested the participants to be as honest and as relaxed as possible to present all the problems that exist in the university. Then, the students addressed the questions and concerns they face during their studies.

An active question and answer took place. The rector of the university and those present answered the students’ questions, promising to find suitable solutions for each question
