Levon Barseghyan, the chairman of the Board of Trustees of SUSh, held a seminar on ’’Self-regulation, ethics and methodology of self-regulation”
Levon Barseghyan, the chairman of the Board of Trustees, held a seminar on “Self-regulation, ethics and methodology of self-regulation” for university administrative, professors and students of the university.
According to the spokesman, actively communicating groups in developed societies are more successful in having self-regulation mechanisms than the groups that do not have these mechanisms.
Levon Barseghyan, presenting methodological instructions on self-regulation mechanisms, noted that the self-regulatory mechanisms are not legal or normative mechanisms developed by the authorities.
Self regulation cannot be imposed. Self regulation is formed on the basis of the beliefs of all members of a group.
Talking about moral norms, L. Barseghyan noted that the code of conduct could not function without a supervising body investigating violations or disputes about violations. Citing examples of violations of the code of conduct from daily life and the experiences of other countries, the spokesman noted that the only way to avoid such examples is the application of sanctions in case of violation of ethics norms.
