Cycling Tour with the Participation of Shirak State University Students

Students of Shirak State University will take part in a cycling tour on October 11, which will follow the route SSU – Mayisyan – Hovuni – SSU.

The main goal of the tour is to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people and to encourage greater physical activity.

Prior to the event, a preparatory meeting was organized for the participants. It was conducted by G. Aghanyan, Head of the Department of Sport and Art, together with K. Aramyan, lecturer of the course “Cycling Sport.”

During the meeting, K. Aramyan presented several important topics with the help of a slide presentation. These included:

​•​the concept of cycling as a sport,

​•​bicycle riding and proper care of the bicycle,

​•​appropriate behavior during a cycling tour,

​•​safety rules while riding a bicycle and during the tour,

​•​and ways to prepare for a cycling trip.
