AT SUSh WAS HELD A REPUBLICAN STUDENT SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 90th ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY

On June 28, 2024, at State University of Shirak was held the republican student scientific conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the university.
Applications for participation in the conference were submitted by about 100 students and specialists from both SUSh (60 participants) and from a series of universities from the Republic of Armenia (40 participants), in particular from Yerevan State University, Armenian State Pedagogical University, National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Brusov State University, Vanadzor State University, Gavar State University, and Goris State University.
Along with the registration, the participants also created a mosaic representing the 90-year-old history of the university, the “symbol” of the conference.
The work of the conference was organized at the plenary session and in 6 departments:
• Natural and mathematical sciences and their teaching methods,
• Earth sciences and their teaching methods,
• Historical sciences and their teaching methods,
• Philological sciences and their teaching methods,
• Pedagogical sciences,
• Psychological sciences.
At the plenary session of the conference, SUSh rector Ye. Serobyan, vice-rector N. Avetisyan, and deputy chairperson from the organizing committee L. Margaryan gave welcome speeches. Besides, ShSU students A. Ghazaryan and N. Muradyan presented reports.
After the break organized in the university courtyard, the work of the conference continued in the departments, where the participants presented their reports in accordance with the programme. Following the work in the departments, the grand closing of the conference took place in the SUSh conference hall, during which the co-presidents of the departments summarized the results, confirming that the conference featured intense discussions, exchange of opinions, and proposed solutions to the raised problems.
SUSh rector Ye. Serobyan handed certificates and souvenirs to the students with the best reports in the departments, as decided by the co-presidents. After the grand closing of the conference, an excursion was organized for the guests, during which they got acquainted with the historical and cultural values of Gyumri.
Volunteer students from SUSh, members of the SSS (Student Scientific Society) took an active part in organizing the conference.
All the participants of the conference will be given certificates of participation, and the submitted scientific articles, which will be guaranteed for publishing as a result of peer review, will be published in the collection of materials of the conference.
