Another Specialized Classroom Opened at State University of Shirak
We are pleased to announce that another specialized classroom will now operate at State University of Shirak, equipped with modern technologies that will make the educational process
even more effective and diverse.
The official opening ceremony of the Russian Language and Literature classroom took place
at the Faculty of Humanities of State University of Shirak. The classroom was equipped by the
Russian Humanitarian Mission with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo, within the framework
of the cooperation agreement previously signed with the university.
Thanks to the program implemented by the Russian Humanitarian Mission, the university has
been provided with modern modular furniture, multifunctional monoblocks, and multimedia
equipment.
The event was attended by the Rector of SUSh, Yervand Serobyan, the Head
of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Armenia, Vadim Fefilov, the Head of the
Representative Office of the Russian Humanitarian Mission in Armenia, Arseny Pronin, the
Head of the Russian House in Gyumri, Anton Beryanev, as well as members of the
university’s academic staff and students.
Rector Yervand Serobyan expressed his gratitude for the initiative, noting that this
cooperation aims to foster a greater appreciation for the Russian language and literature, as
well as to strengthen and expand knowledge in this field.
For his part, Vadim Fefilov emphasized that the cooperation between the two institutions
represents a strong and effective partnership that contributes to the development of
intercultural communication.
The classroom is intended to be used not only by students studying relevant specialties at
State University of Shirak, but also by the Russian community in Gyumri, as well as
schoolchildren and residents of Shirak Province, for organizing Russian language courses and
literary-cultural events.
