Another Manifestation of University–School Cooperation at Shirak State University

With the aim of further strengthening and developing university–school cooperation, a meeting was held  within the framework of the course “Methodology of Teaching History” at the Department of History and Law of Shirak State University. The guest speaker was Anush Mikayelyan, a history teacher at the University’s affiliated school and a mentor.

During the meeting, A. Mikayelyan presented the current methodological challenges of teaching history in schools, explained the mechanisms for implementing the State General Education Standard  and discussed the effectiveness of innovative technologies in the educational process.

At the conclusion of the meeting, A. Mikayelyan conducted a diagnostic test and organized a project-based activity with the students.
