Address by SUSh Rector Yervand Serobyan on the Occasion of Knowledge and Schooling Day

Dear schoolchildren and students, respected professors, colleagues, and
distinguished representatives of the education sector,
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of us on Knowledge and Schooling Day —
September 1. This holiday marks not only the beginning of a new academic year, but
also an opportunity to reflect on the bright path that leads to wisdom, creative
thought, and new professional horizons.
With special warmth and heartfelt emotion, I welcome our first-year students. May
your years of study become the most fulfilling and unforgettable period of your lives,
filled with academic discoveries and well-deserved achievements. With no less
sincere emotion, I also congratulate our first-graders, for whom the doors to the
world of knowledge and the discovery of the world around them are opening today.
Education is the strongest foundation of our state’s strength and its future
achievements. I wish us all boundless energy, creative inspiration, and unwavering
determination for the prosperity of our country and the advancement of scientific
thought.
