The SUSh Team Took Part in a Moot Court Competition

In October 2025, an interuniversity moot court competition on problems of criminal law and criminal procedure was held in Aghveran. It was organized by the Faculty of Law of YSU and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ).

Among the nine teams representing various universities of the Republic of Armenia that had applied to participate in the competition, the results of the written round enabled two teams from Yerevan State University, as well as the teams from  State University of Shirak,Vanadzor State University, the French University in Armenia, and Northern University to advance to the oral round and compete by presenting their knowledge.

The “Guardians of Law” team of  State University of Shirak,with coached Hrant Muradyan, a lecturer at the Department of History and Law, and students Arman Movsisyan, Garegin Sultanyan, Osanna Davtyan, and Tigran Davtyan, took part in the moot court competition. The team received a special award from the Union of Judges of the Republic of Armenia for presenting the most original solution to the case.
