The report of Erasmus+ program participants was held at SUSh

On May 29, the public report of the staff and students who participated in the Erasmus+ program during the 2023-2024 academic year was held at State University of Shirak.

Before starting the report, SUSh Rector Yervand Serobyan handed over certificates to the participants of the pilot courses of “Research Writing Skills” and “Quality Assurance” modules held at SUSh within the framework of the Erasmus+ “SMARTI” program.

Rector Ye. Serobyan noted in his greeting and congratulatory speech that it is very important for university lecturers and students to participate in exchange programs and to transfer the acquired experience to colleagues through public reports. The Rector expressed hope that due to the launch of the EMI Center, we will have a larger geography of participation in the Erasmus+ program.

Then the students and professors of SUSh who participated in mobility and training within the Erasmus+ program (Heghine Isahakyan, Artak Hovhannisyan, Mariam Harutyunyan, Gayane Harutyunyan, Marine Grigoryan, Ani Sahakyan, Venera Zakaryan) presented their work in the partner universities of Romania, Spain, Portugal, Austria and Latvia through slides.

Among others, Bella Hovhannisyan, Public Relations Coordinator of SUSh, and Emma Hovakimyan, a 4th-year student in Translation Studies (English and Russian), who participated in training courses within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, respectively, in Georgia and Hungary, within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation with the “Youth Initiative Center” NGO, presented a report.

At the end of the meeting, in his closing speech, Hovik Melkonyan, Director of the External Cooperation Center of SUSh, thanked the attendees for participating and representing SUSh to our foreign partners in a worthy manner and mentioned that in the near future it is planned to hold new competitions to participate in the mobility announced by the universities of Valladolid and Lisbon.
