The inaugural meeting of the Scientific Council for the 2025–2026 academic year was held at Shirak State University

On August 29, the inaugural meeting of the Scientific Council for the 2025–2026 academic year was held at Shirak State University.

The Rector of SHSU, Yervand Serobyan, first congratulated those present on the occasion of the new academic year, wishing them new achievements and success. The issues included on the agenda were then presented and discussed.

During the meeting, they talked about and approved changes to the procedures for the state final attestation of SHSU master’s and bachelor’s graduates; amendments to the curricula of the full-time and part-time (distance) bachelor’s degree programs; the SHSU Scientific Council’s work plan for the 2025–2026 academic year and revisions to the regulations on the election of a faculty dean.

The decision to award the “SHSU Meritorious” commemorative medal was also approved. Other current issues were also discussed during the meeting.
