The inaugural meeting of the newly elected Academic Council took place at SUSh

On November 20, the Academic Council of the “M. Nalbandyan State University of Shirak” Foundation convened its first and extraordinary meeting with new staff.
At the start of the session, SUSh Rector Yervand Serobyan congratulated the re-elected and newly elected members of the Academic Council, noting that being a member of the Academic Council is a great honor and responsibility for everyone. He emphasized that they are going to face difficult but important work aimed at the development and progress of the university.
A report on two agenda items was presented by Nazeli Avetisyan, Acting Vice-Rector-Director of the Center for Educational and Methodological Process Management. The topics related to admission applications for the 2025-2026 academic year for the current Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees and the continuous and integrated educational program at SUSh.
Lilit Margaryan, Director of the Center for Science Policy and Innovation, presented a report on the approval of individual research plans for two first-year postgraduate students in the “Geography” specialty under the postgraduate professional educational program.
The scientific council made relevant decisions on the issues discussed.
At the end of the session, SUSh Rector Yervand Serobyan summarized the work carried out so far within the framework of the university’s 90th anniversary events in 2024 and presented the preparatory work for the upcoming ceremonial session. In his speech, he expressed special gratitude to all SUSh graduates who continue to cooperate and support their Alma Mater with love and dedication.
