TEACH FOR ARMENIA

The representatives of “Teach for Armenia” held a regular meeting with students at State University of Shirk today.

Aramayis Simonyan, a recruitment specialist of the “Teach for Armenia” educational foundation, presented the two-year “Leadership Development” program, talked about the opportunities provided by it, the requirements and the application process.

It is worth reminding that “Teach for Armenia”, recruiting and training university graduates and young professionals, sends them to those regional schools of Armenia where there is a need for a teacher.

SUSh graduate Volodya Grigoryan who has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in “Geography” specialty, presented his success story of participating in the “Leadership Development” program.

Within the framework of the program, Volodya taught Geography in the Vardenik community of Gegharkunik Province, bringing positive changes in both school and community life. In his words, he also registered professional and personal growth, created stable connections and was included in a number of other “Teach for Armenia” initiatives.

The participant of the program encouraged the students of SUSh to participate in the program, thereby contributing to the improvement of the quality of education and the development of communities.

On December 14, the representatives of “Teach for Armenia” held an informative meeting with the students of State University of Shirak.

Nazeli Avetisyan, Acting Vice-Rector, Director of the SUSh Educational and Methodological Process Management Center, welcomed the participants of the meeting, encouraging the students to participate in the program, which is a unique opportunity to create good connections, to become professionally skilled, and to provide service to the community and the country.
