Summer School at SUSh: Day 1
SUSh has launched its summer school program for students in their final year of high school from the Shirak region.
On the first day of the summer school, Nazeli Avetisyan, acting Vice-Rector-Head of the Educational Process Management Centre of SUSh, welcomed the participants and wished them good luck.
The students then toured the university campus, exploring the library, reading room, “A Key to Intellect” club, and gym halls. Then they visited the External Cooperation Center, where Hovik Melkonyan, head of the centre, presented the Erasmus+ programs and their possibilities. Gevorg Asatryan, a lecturer in the Mathematics, Physics, and Information Technologies Chair at SUSh, led a course on “Information Security” for future applicants.
Accompanied by Dean Levon Martirosyan, future applicants to the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences explored the faculty and got acquainted with the possibilities of equipment and resources. Afterwards, Termine Panosyan, a laboratory assistant at the Chair of Biology and Chemistry, with the assistance of campers, carried out laboratory experiments in biology and chemistry in the modern biotechnology laboratory.
The summer camp will run until June 28, and all participants will receive certificates of completion.
