Summer School at Shirak State University: Day 1
The Summer School at Shirak State University began, with around fifty graduating students from schools across the Shirak region participating. On the first day, the Rector of the university, Yervand Serobyan, welcomed the participants and wished them success, emphasizing the importance of professional orientation initiatives and the value of university–school cooperation.
Students then toured the university, visiting the reading hall, library and sports facilities. At the Center for External Cooperation, participants learned about the Erasmus+ programs offered at the university and the opportunities they provide.
At the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, students were introduced to the faculty’s history, its facilities and the programs offered to incoming students. In the laboratories of the Departments of Biology and Chemistry, participants conducted hands-on experiments under supervision.
The day concluded with presentations from students who had studied a semester at European partner universities through the Erasmus+ program, sharing their experiences and inspiring participants about their future educational prospects.
