The progress of the Erasmus+ T4GREEN project at SUSh

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ T4GREEN project being implemented at State University of Shirak, a workshop was held with the participation of lecturers from professional departments whose curricula are scheduled to be revised in order to ensure the introduction of green and digital technologies.

It should be noted that the Erasmus+ T4GREEN project aims at reforming teacher education in Armenia and Moldova enabling the shift from traditional to future-oriented curricula and teaching methods towards attainment of the national goals of general education and supporting green and digital transition.

At the beginning of the working meeting, H. Melkonyan, the program coordinator at SUSh, presented the agenda and the speakers.

SUSh Rector Ye. Serobyan welcomed the participants of the workshop and wished them a productive session, emphasizing the necessity of the ongoing program in the context of the digitalization of the modern educational system and the goals of sustainable development.

Then, the speakers – G. Avetisyan, Head of the Quality Assurance Department of SUSh, L. Ghukasyan, Head of the Chair of “Pedagogy”, and N. Nalbandyan, lecturer at the Chair of “Foreign Languages and Literature” – presented the working versions of the curricula and course descriptors they had compiled for the purpose of introducing green and digital technologies.

When developing the latter, the authors were guided by the educational materials of trainings conducted at European partner universities.

The workshop proceeded with discussions of the presented works and a question-and-answer session.

Numerous observations and suggestions were made by the participants, which the speakers will take into account when reviewing and refining the working versions.
