Solemn Ceremony of Awarding Prizes Dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of SUSh.

Today, a festive atmosphere prevailed in the conference hall of SUSh,where the solemn ceremony of awarding prizes on the occasion of the university’s 90th anniversary took place in a warm and cordial setting. The event commenced with a welcoming and congratulatory speech by the Rector of SUSh Yervand Serobyan. Addressing his congratulations to those present, he pointed out that the history of the university dates back to 1934, and after 90 years, SUSh continues to hold its rightful place within the educational system of the Republic.
The Governor of Shirak Region David Arushanyan also extended his congratulations to his Alma Mater, emphasizing that a significant part of his personal and professional journey was shaped within these walls. He expressed his deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to all those who have contributed to this important endeavour. The Member of Parliament / the National Assembly Emma Palyan likewise conveyed her congratulations to the university and presented a congratulatory message from the President of the National Assembly, Mr. Alen Simonyan, while awarding the NA President’s commemorative medal.
On the occasion of the 90 th anniversary of SUSh after M. Nalbandyan and in recognition of its contributions to the fields of education and science, approximately fifty university employees were awarded certificates of appreciation and diplomas by the Governor of Shirak Region David Arushanyan. In acknowledgment of their significant contributions to university education, their prolific and fruitful academic career, and in celebration of their 80th birthdays, the Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, Honorary Head of the Chair of Mathematics, Physics, and IT, Samvel Sargsyan, along with Associate Professor of the same Chair, Nashik Harutyunyan, were honoured with the “Golden Medal of SUSh after M. Nalbandyan.”
In recognition of their effective work and on the occasion of the 90 th anniversary of the university, SUSh Rector Yervand Serobyan awarded certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts to approximately ten university employees. Additionally, letters of appreciation were presented by the Rector to the students who actively participated, on a voluntary basis, in the organizational efforts of the solemn events dedicated to the university’s 90 th anniversary.
