SUSh EMI Centre is undergoing an external expert assessment
The EMI Centre was recently set up at Shirak State University as part of the Erasmus+ SMARTI programme, aiming to improve the English proficiency of both internal and external beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Erasmus+ SMARTI is an innovative programme aimed at developing and implementing ten comprehensive methodological modules. “English as a Medium of Instruction” for both the faculty and students in partner-country universities, with the goal of implementing teaching also in English through the Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).
The EMI Centre and modules elaborated and twice piloted by the University are currently undergoing external expert assessment.
For this purpose, today SUSh Rector Yervand Serobyan, the SMARTI project working group and students participating in module piloting held an online working meeting-discussion with the group of external experts.
The purpose of the meeting was an external assessment of SUSh EMI Centre activities and the results of the two piloted modules.
