Representatives of the “Teach For Armenia” Foundation at State University of Shirak

On October 2, 2024, the Rector of Shirak State University Yervand Serobyan hosted Armen Hovhannisyan, Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships at the “Teach For Armenia” Foundation, and Arshak Poghosyan, Manager of University Cooperation and Student Engagement. The meeting was also attended by Nazeli Avetisyan, Acting Director of the Center for Academic and Methodological Process Management at Shirak State University, and Hovik Melkonyan, Director of the Center for External Cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to strengthen and deepen further cooperation, as well as the possibilities of renewing the cooperation memorandum.
As part of the events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Shirak State University, career development coordinators of the “Teach For Armenia” Foundation organized various games for students in the university courtyard, with the winners receiving encouraging prizes. They also introduced the students to the concept, mission, and application deadlines of the “Teach For Armenia” program, as well as the opportunities available to students within the framework of the program.
