Meetings and Discussions at SUSh Aimed at Identifying Students’ Needs
On April 30, the Head of the Quality Assurance Department at State University of Shirak, Gayane Avetisyan, and Inessa Galstyan, Internship Coordinator of the Department of Student Support and University–Employer Cooperation, held a series of meetings and discussions with academic advisors and course representatives from three faculties of the University.
During the meeting, Inessa Galstyan presented the provisions set forth in SUSh’s “Regulation on the Identification and Support of Students’ Needs,” which address the mechanisms for identifying students’ academic and social needs as well as the procedures for their subsequent resolution. She added that University stakeholders may also make their voices heard through the “Complaints, Grievances, and Suggestions Box,” as well as via the feedback platform available on the University’s official website.
Gayane Avetisyan noted that such meetings are organized each semester in accordance with the “Regulation on the Identification and Support of Students’ Needs” adopted by the Shirak M. Nalbandyan State University Foundation. She also introduced the “Student Voice” initiative, emphasizing the importance of active student participation in the project.
The meetings were conducted in an atmosphere of lively discussion and open dialogue. The speakers carefully listened to the issues and needs raised by academic advisors and course representatives. These concerns were summarized and will be forwarded to the relevant departments for further consideration and resolution.
