Meeting and discussion with students and academic advisors

On November 13 and 14, Gayane Avetisyan, Head of the Quality Assurance Department of Shirak State University, and Vahram Eloyan, Head of the Student Support and University-Employer Cooperation Department, held a meeting-discussion with academic advisors and seniors of the three faculties of the university and the Military Department.
Gayane Avetisyan presented to the participants a number of provisions enshrined in SUSh “Procedure for Identifying and Supporting Students’ Needs,” which relate to identifying students’ academic and social needs, and also touched on the rights and responsibilities of academic advisors.
Vahram Eloyan presented the functions of the PISSN department, the important points of the regulations for the allocation of state and intra-university student benefits and scholarships. He noted that the university’s beneficiaries can also make their voices heard through the “Complaints, Discontents and Suggestions Box” available at the university.
These meetings are organized after the end of the exam period of each semester, in accordance with the “M. Nalbandyan State Universityof Shirak” Foundation’s “Student Needs Identification and Support Procedure”.
The meetings were held in an atmosphere of heated discussion as well as questions and answers.
