Marta Kos, the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, was at State University of Shirak

Today, Marta Kos, the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, and Vassilis Maragos, the EU Ambassador to Armenia, visited State University of Shirak. They met with students and staff in the university’s conference hall.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector of SUSh, Yervand Serobyan, delivered a speech. He welcomed the guests and presented the university’s cooperation with universities from various EU countries.

Afterwards, Levon Barseghyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of SUSh, made a speech and presented Mrs. Kos with one of his drawings.

During the meeting, Marta Kos delivered a lecture on “Current EU–Armenia Relations,” after which she answered the participants’ questions.

At the end of the meeting, SUSh Rector Ye. Serobyan presented the distinguished guests with the book “In the Pages of the Shirak State University Chronicle”, dedicated to the university’s 90th anniversary.
